Contract Award Service (CAS)
What is Contract Award Service (CAS)?
CAS is a buying tool that is available for some of our commercial agreements. It will provide you with an online end to end process that will allow you to complete procurement actions such as:
- filter suppliers by lot and service line
- issue a Request For Information (RFI) and / or Expression of Interest (EOI)
- undertake a further competition or direct award
- award your contract
- provide feedback to suppliers
- generate an audit trail for your procurement
Who can use
All government departments and public sector buyers can use CAS.

How to buy
To buy from CAS you will need to:
- decide what you want to buy and what commercial agreement you want to use
- go to your chosen agreement’s webpage and pick the lot that meets your needs
- select the lot you want to use by clicking the lot link (the lot title)
Clicking the lot link will direct you to CAS. You will then be asked to sign in to, or create an account for, the Public Procurement Gateway (PPG). You will need a PPG account to use CAS.
For more information on how to buy, each of the agreements has its own buyers’ guide. You can find the guide in the document section of the agreement webpage.
