5/9/2023: This agreement will replace the current Technology Services 3

Description

We aim to provide you with a simple and flexible route to market for all your technology service needs. You will be able to access a wide range of services and suppliers.

Suppliers will range from large system integrators (SI’s) to small and medium sized enterprises (SME’s).

This agreement will provide the same range of services as our current Technical Services 3 agreement. We plan for services to include:

  • provision and management of IT service desk
  • end user device support
  • network support
  • asset disposal and application maintenance
  • IT infrastructure support (for example, server and storage hardware)
  • service strategy services
  • design and transition services
  • large scale digital transformations

We are also looking to include new services that buyers and suppliers asked for during engagement sessions.

We may also look to potentially combine services from our other agreements where appropriate.

We will also look to confirm whether the new procurement regulations will bring additional benefits to Technology Services 4 (TS4).

Benefits

  • provides a complete range of technology services through a variety of purchase models
  • provides a single agreement to support a logical technology service lifecycle from strategy and design to transition and operational running
  • supports social value aims such as carbon reduction and localisation
  • simplifies the customer experience, especially for your ‘technology as a service”’ needs
  • provides for all of your service needs, from disaggregation (breaking down) of large contracts to single vendor outsourcing

Market engagement

July 2024 to September 2024: CCS has recorded a series of TS4 supplier surgeries, hosted by techUK. In these sessions, we have presented our final proposals for the TS4 agreement to the market.

The following topics have been covered across the sessions: lotting structure, scope and specification, rate cards, evaluation, Certificates of Technical and Professional Ability (COTPAs), and standards and certifications.

15 August 2024: We have now launched an anonymous survey to gather expected supplier bidder numbers for TS4.

If you are a supplier planning to bid for a place on TS4, please complete the survey, which can be accessed here.

This survey is completely anonymous and is for internal information purposes only. This survey will have no impact on your bid to be part of the agreement.

Please complete this survey once per organisation. If you have any questions, please email the team at info@crowncommercial.gov.uk.

12 December 2024: TS4 and Digital Outcomes and Specialists 7 (DOS7) Supplier Surgery: technical ability certificates.

This session will provide further information regarding the Technical Ability Certificates, formerly known as Certificates of Technical and Professional Ability (COTPAs), that will be required to bid for both agreements.

Further sessions will be held regularly over the coming months and will review various areas of both framework agreements.

For details of future sessions including topics to be discussed and dates the surgeries will be held, as well as a link to sign up for the surgeries, please visit the CCS events page.
