SOW’s are set packages of output-based work with payment against agreed outcomes that outline specific services the supply chain is expected to deliver. Services delivered under an SOW may include:
- supply chain design and implementation
- tailored supply chain management
- provider management.
Recruit, Train, Deploy (RTD)
Workers that are employed by an RTD supplier, are suitably trained and deployed to the customer temporarily.
Resource Augmentation
AMS must design and implement a resource augmentation
supplier chain with significant numbers of appropriately skilled and
experienced staff on their payroll.
- workers who are typically professionals in high demand to be sourced at short notice, typically in high-volume requirements
- workers will be employees of the appointed resource augmentation supplier
- AMS must then liaise directly with a customer to understand resource requirements, providing employees on a day rate, at short notice
- AMS retains responsibility for ensuring vetting checks have been completed in line with BPSS and/or equivalent level required
Permanent Recruitment
- workers that undertake a permanent or fixed-term position within an organisation
- typically in the Civil Service, these roles range from administrative officers (AO) to grade 6 (G6)
- executive search roles are not in scope
Campaigns:
Surge-based hiring for high quantities of replicable skills to a predetermined time frame typically supporting emergency / strategic programmes.
- AMS will manage a process to appoint an agency to meet a specific customer need and can support both contingent labour and permanent recruitment or a combination of both, where the customer would accept workers by either route
Overseas Workers
- workers that undertake a temporary contract to provide contingent labour workers based outside of the UK
- AMS shall ensure all requirements meet all relevant legislation and requirements of the country where the worker is engaged (if applicable)
